Hello
Here's who I am & what I do
Growing up as a child of two economics professors, I felt a desire to be different from my parents and explore other fields. However, living and going to school in foreign countries on study abroad trips with my parents piqued my interest in how different kinds of people interact with each other. Reading How an Economy Grows and Why it Crashes was what really got me interested, as I realized that economics isn’t just about math and graphs, but also about people. I love understanding the mechanisms behind people and their choices, and I found economics to be the most interesting discipline for that given its model focused and analytical approach.
Pursuing a BS in economics was initially very challenging to me, but once I realized that all the math I was doing could be applied to all aspects of my life and others lives, I was hooked. Through my classes, I have been galvanized by the information I’ve learned to apply it to the things that concern me personally. I’m an avid learner who is looking to broaden my horizons by working a job that can motivate and push me.
